Pisa Tinoisamoa Set to Visit Eagles

ESPN’s Tim Graham is reporting that free agent linebacker Pisa Tinoisamoa is scheduled to visit the Eagles this week. The productive weakside linebacker had 135 tackles, three sacks, and two forced fumbles in his final year with the St. Louis Rams. New head coach Steve Spagnuolo released Tinoisamoa in hopes to add size to his linebacking corps.

Tinoisamoa would come into camp and challenge incumbent starter Akeem Jordan and Omar Gaither for weakside duties. Only 27 years old, it would seem likely that he has a few good years left in him. Nothing wrong with bringing in more quality competition at linebacker, a position Andy Reid and Jim Johnson have shuffled frequently in the past few years.

Also scheduled to visit with the Bears and Bills, Tinoisamoa will likely choose one of the three in the near future.
